本片根据同名京剧改编，源出「水浒传」，胡金铨编剧。值得一提的是，擅演悲剧的乐蒂首次以俏皮方式演出丫头一角。故事始于才子卞济（乔庄）落拓花田，卖画维生，与官家小姐（丁宁）一见锺情，却因恶霸（朱牧）介入而波折重重，闹出连篇笑话……。A group of young offenders are delivered to an island for a week of character building exercises after one of their fellow inmates commits suicide.. It all goes horribly wrong when they realise that there′s someone else on the island who has a pack of dogs and a crossbow with which to hunt them down.。一名大学生为了替死去的母亲报仇，立誓加入一支秘密教团，继而陷入狼人与黑魔法施咒者的战争。。
