心医叶平安（刘诗诗饰）为一桩旧案寻至圣都，因擅用心计，被人视作“巫女”，人人避之不及。大理寺丞元少城（窦骁饰）出身邙沟贱民区，他冷峻狠戾，时刻抓住机会向上爬。此时，圣都突发命案，一朝廷命官惨死家中。叶平安曾为其治疗失眠顽疾，且正好出现在命案现场，因此被视作杀人凶手。元少城看出此案蹊跷，但仍将叶平安置于死地，以作自己晋阶的“投名状”。可任谁也想不到，叶平安早已在她的复仇之路上，下出了布局的第一颗棋。。Previously acclaimed for his essayistic documentaries, Philip Scheffner has now ventured into fiction.
