讲述了民国初年的沙漠之地，因一场变异兽灾的肆虐，沙漠住民被迫躲藏黄沙地底，终年如鼠度日。整个沙漠，城镇成焦土，活人不见天，深陷在“缄默求生”的恐惧之中。为寻得求生希望，守住家园故土，沙漠青年们凛然直面“釜山行”式的兽海狂潮，在寂静肃杀的大漠中，与未知异兽展开了一场场生死角逐……。该剧讲述了在陕北的一个偏远之地，原住民阎姓族人因一场瘟疫死伤惨重，后幸得宋姓祖先传授爆竹、鞭炮技术拯救阎姓族人，阎姓族人并通过其所授技艺得以兴旺发达，于是两族成为世交。然而，后世子女却因为利益争夺，违背了祖先的旨令，大打出手，争权夺利的故事。。A story about the 8 time Tony Award-winning director, choreographer, and cinematographer Bob Fosse which focuses on some of the gray areas of his life and his self-destructive side.
