某公寓发生一宗皮夹藏尸案，凶案组伊SIR调查此案，发现死尸是一名女子，因尸体非常腐烂导致警方不能确认身份，伊SIR一边追查死者身份，一边寻找疑凶下落，其后发现女死者以卖淫为生，阿荣是其马夫，伊SIR为了寻找疑凶而扫荡红灯区，红灯区里多名大哥生意受损，于是黑白两道都开始追击阿荣，阿荣走投无路，隧向警方自首，伊SIR通过阿荣重组案件，发现杀人动机原来是……。Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals?
