1935年的陕北黄土高原,放羊娃成宝娃和白海旺的女儿白秀兰相恋。红军地下工作者老李给大家带来了喜讯——刘志丹的人马来了。当白军团长追捕老李时,成宝娃唱着情歌掩护了老李,但他的羊却被抢走了两只。地主张瑞堂遇他赔债,要枪毙他,还抓走了白秀兰。成宝娃参加了游击队。在战斗中成宝娃打死了地主,救出了白海旺。为了保卫好光景,成宝娃和白秀兰参加了红军。。"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。以张君尧基层历练为主线，批判职场权力霸凌：李炔德霸控部门，梅梁欣造黄谣辱周舟，揭露 “微权力” 绞杀劳动者尊严问题。张君尧依规维权（假条、调岗、加班）失败，折射劳动者在制度缝隙中的困境，终靠顶层破局。
