Soon the stolen cash in Pecos’ vengeanc...。柏胜兵退伍回乡后发现，自己离家十年，家乡在父亲柏保国带领下与十年前毫无变化，在外面接受过洗礼的柏胜兵与父亲发生了冲突，他决心改变现状。他推掉了去武装部工作的机会，在支教女大学生胜男帮助下，挤掉墨守成规的父亲，担任了村里的党政一把手。大学生才文秀为追求胜男，吹嘘自己是城里某公司的经理，而竞选村官失败的钱砚开对柏胜兵产生了浓浓的妒意。在与柏胜兵合力工作中，胜男渐渐喜欢上这个有抱负的退伍兵，钱砚开的儿子钱串子也喜欢上胜男，才文秀提出三人公开竞争......。
