Using intense images and texts from Kaczynski’s pamphlets, the result is no conventional biopic but a meditative composition – and an emotional exploration of violence.。牧扬与梦桐从各自的家乡来到北京追逐梦想，两人相识后惺惺相惜、患难与共。梦桐患有脑外伤后遗症，病情的加重导致与牧扬惜别。梦桐回到家乡嫁给了与己青梅竹马的子寒。梦桐与子寒为牧扬苦心经营的项目注入了资本。。
