When Berlin falls to the Russians, and her husband killed, she flees to America, carrying his unborn child, all the while not giving up hope that she will find her family, tied together by her mother's ring。故事内容在描述在餐厅做乐队领班的鲁涛（钟镇涛饰）和同日一起搬来的方家四姊妹同时被房东诈骗，被迫住在同一屋檐下，整天鲁涛与方家四姊妹为了小事而起争执，也因此与在摄影公司上班的方惠贞（沈雁饰）在朝夕相处的过程中两人日久生情，对彼此都产生微妙的情愫… 方家四姊妹的各种发生的事情均由鲁涛协助解决，鲁涛要求惠贞与他一同赴美，惠贞非常犹豫，最后房租到期，双方均舍不得分开却一定得分开，而惠贞也交与鲁涛一封信套，里面放在惠贞……。
