本片改编自住野夜同名小说。阿京、山姆、空空、阿冢和艾蒙五人是同班同学。总是缺乏自信的阿京，很在意明亮开朗的女同学，绰号「山姆」的三木，然而山姆似乎对总是保持王子形象的阿冢怀着好感──因为拥有奇妙能力的阿京，其实看得见每个人头上飘浮着「！」、「？」各式符号。坐在阿京旁的女同学艾蒙从某天开始拒绝上学，但阿京却不知道，艾蒙拒学的理由，竟然是误会自己讨厌她，幸而活泼的山姆化解了这场误会，之后加上总是为所欲为的「空空」，可爱的五人小团体就此诞生！只是，阿京对山姆的心意，似乎还是无法表白，默默将一切看在眼里的空空，决定进行某项计划…。穷小子陈修，为救母亲，意外激活传家之宝，得以功法，复仇开始。。Detective Murdoch finds that the man behind a flying machine that crashes in Toronto is none other than his old nemesis, James Pendrick.
