本武侠片为林福地编导，由舒佩佩、虞慧及川原主演。故事讲述巡按御史傅秉忠(井淼饰)被皇上降下圣旨令其即行开缺回籍，傅装好两箱书，与仆人取山道回京城。傅主仆二人途中遇见武功不凡的燕书棠(川原饰)、少女史雪兰(舒佩佩饰)与丫环小梅(虞慧饰)，一行人在破庙遭遇匪徒袭击，两箱书被抢走，傅秉忠与史雪兰更被匪徒掳进山洞……。In 1976 a group of people in the desert for a photo shoot stumble upon an abandoned town called Savage. But they are not alone. A family of masked psychopaths have claimed Savage as their own and are hell bent on living up to its name.。
