故事发生在一家从昭和时代就开始经营至今的咖啡店中，在这家咖啡店里有一个神奇的座位，坐在这个座位上的人能够回到他们想要回到的过去某一日，重温旧日时光，而时限就是一杯咖啡从滚烫到冷却的那么长时间。回到过去的人是无法干涉已经发生过的事情，亦无法改变未来，可即便如此，想要体验这神奇时刻的客人仍然络绎不绝。 在感情和现实之中纠结无法做出选择的OL清川二美子（波瑠饰）、一直过着形单影只的生活的平井八绘子（吉田羊饰）、因为阿兹海默症而渐渐失去记忆的高竹佳代（药师丸博子饰），每一个人的生命里，都有不惜代价想要回到的那一天。。在遥远的宇宙中，一颗叫做布兰星的星球，居住着金木水火土五大蚂蚁神族，心怀和平梦想，蚂蚁皇后派出五大神族的精英：金童童、木吞吞、水灵灵、火聪聪、土豆豆，带着拥有五常文化的定界天碑，欲将仁、义、礼、智、信传扬宇宙，却在星际穿梭途中遭遇黑蚂蚁兄弟雷震震和风小小破坏，导致组成定界天碑的五常灵珠散落地球世界各地。为了找回灵珠，小蚂蚁开始了追寻梦想的环球冒险，在世界各地展开了一场又一场奇幻萌趣的争夺。。A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry.
