Although the show is recorded and produced in HD...。1949年春，东南沿海某地。莲花乡乡长蛇头疔（唐克 饰）自感国民党大势已去，他把多年来搜刮的民脂民膏装箱打包，准备偷运出境。农民阿炳（赵汝平 饰）发现了他的行径，蛇头疔准备杀人灭口，关健时刻游击队赶来救了他。几年后，阿炳担任了村里的民兵队长。逃往海外的蛇头疔带人密潜莲花乡，准备接妻子淑珍（卢稼影 饰）出境。敌特在岸边偷船被渔民阿亮（刘秀珍 饰）察觉，幸亏阿炳及时赶到救了阿亮父女。蛇头疔眼见事情败露，趁机逃回台湾。1962年，国民党叫嚣反攻大陆，蛇头疔带小股匪特窜犯莲花乡，正巧碰上阿炳的妻子和儿子牛仔（易小豆 饰），他把其娘俩扣作人质......。男主以为自己是平平无奇的乡下人，却没意识到自己是降维打击的高手下山， 随手炒的土豆丝却是造化灵物，治好了萧家老祖，却也因此得罪了镇北王，镇北王多番寻仇，男主最终决定讨伐镇北王，在最终决战用拖鞋打下来渡雷劫的镇北王，毁灭了镇北王势力.....。
