失恋失落的京子通过“match app”与门野相遇，两人相互吸引并结婚。与美青年、温柔的门野一起生活让京子感到幸福，但没过多久，怀疑丈夫爱上了自己以外的人，于是雇用了侦探野村，拼命追查真相。但是京子越想知道门野的真面目，就越在谜团中彷徨。终于找到了真相，亲眼目睹的是超乎想象的冲击性光景。。影片由北京西河星汇影业出品，中国导演贾樟柯担任监制，邀请来自巴西、俄罗斯、印度、中国、南非五个国家的五位女性导演，以女性视角发声，分别以“当代女性情感与社会”为主题拍摄一部电影短片，而五部独立的短片将汇集为一部片名为《半边天》的集锦长片。。Every living creature starts life as a baby.
